In this post, I provide an overview of the contents of Chapter 9 in water control manuals.
Chapter 9 discusses the overall management of the water control function.
- Responsibilities of the Water Management Section during normal operations and flood emergencies
- Coordination among federal, state, and local agencies
- Detailing of interagency agreements
- Listing of reports produced on a daily, monthly, and annual basis
- Listing of reports produced during and after a flood
