In this post, I provide an overview of the contents of Chapter 2 in water control manuals.

Chapter 2 provides a description of the project.

Pertinent information in this chapter includes:
  • Project location
  • Project purpose
  • Physical components of the project including embankment and outlets
  • Real estate acquired for the construction of the reservoir
  • Public facilities available at the project
